Fortunate

Davar Collection

Inspired by the words of Mishlei (Proverbs) 3:18, Fortunate reflects the enduring wisdom contained in one of the most beloved images in Scripture:

עֵץ־חַיִּים הִיא לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ וְתֹמְכֶיהָ מְאֻשָּׁר

"She is a tree of life to those who hold fast to her, and those who support her are fortunate."

Rendered through a distinctive style of interconnected Hebrew lettering, the composition transforms sacred words into movement and form. Individual letters are woven together into a flowing visual rhythm, inviting the viewer to discover meaning gradually through layers of color, texture, and abstraction.

Ancient language and contemporary expression converge, revealing a message of wisdom, resilience, and life. Through its vibrant palette and interconnected forms, the work reflects the belief that truth is not merely something to admire from afar, but something to embrace, preserve, and live by.

Drawn from a verse that has inspired generations, Fortunate is a meditation on the blessings that flow from remaining connected to wisdom. Like the roots of a living tree, the truths that sustain us deepen over time, nourishing the soul and bearing fruit far beyond what can be seen.
